Performance Features
Key designs and technologies in cryogenic side entry ball valve:
● Lip-seal + packing double seal of valve stem can reduce the amount of packing.
● Finite element assisted design is used to obtain the optimal wall thickness of the extended valve cover to ensure the best cooling effect.
● The arc moon groove design of the extended valve cover increases the cooling area and enhances the cooling effect.
● The drip plate design increases the cooling area and prevents the packing from freezing; effectively prevents condensed water from dripping onto the valve body.
● Lip-seal + gasket double seal is set at the body cover connection to prevent leakage.
● The valve seat adopts DIB-2 structure, which can ensure that the pressure in the middle cavity is stably released to the specified side when the pressure exceeds the limit.
● The valve seat seal is a Lip-sea structure, which has both the elastic compensation of the spring and the low-temperature elastic sealing performance of PTFE, ensuring excellent sealing effect at low temperatures.
● The valve seat sealing surface is imported CTFE, which still has good elasticity at ultra-low temperatures to ensure that the seal does not fail.
● The extended bonnet and long handle structure design ensures better coaxiality of the ball handle, valve stem and bonnet, and more sensitive switching.
● All fasteners in contact with low temperatures are fully threaded.
● The surface of the ball is hardened to ensure that it will not be scratched at low temperatures.
