Performance Features

1. The gate has two sealing surfaces. The most commonly used is that the two sealing surfaces of the gate form a wedge shape. The wedge angle varies with the valve parameters and is usually 5°.
2. The sealing principle of the wedge gate valve is to achieve sealing by the close combination of the two sealing surfaces on the wedge gate and the two sealing surfaces on the valve body when they are wedged.
3. The wedge gate valve can be divided into a rising stem gate valve (lifting stem gate valve) and a concealed stem gate valve (rotating stem gate valve) according to the different ways in which the valve stem drives the gate to open and close.
4. The wedge gate valve can be divided into an elastic gate valve and a rigid gate valve according to the different gate structure forms.
5. The valve body is cast, the valve body and the valve cover are connected by bolts, and the middle flange is sealed with a winding gasket. Metal rings can also be used for connection when customers have special requirements.
6. The channel is smooth and the flow coefficient is small. The sealing surface is less eroded and eroded by the medium.
7. The sealing surface is made of alloy steel or hard alloy, which has good wear resistance and abrasion resistance.
8. Flexible graphite filler is used, the sealing is reliable, and the operation is light and flexible.
9. The medium flow direction is not restricted, there is no disturbance, and the pressure is not reduced.
