Product Description

Compared with cast steel parts, forged steel parts have higher quality, which is reflected in the impact force they can withstand, plasticity, toughness and other mechanical properties. The general diameter of NPT forged steel gate valve is not more than DN80, and most of them are reduced diameter designs. The flow rate is slightly smaller than that of cast steel gate valves of the same diameter, but the pressure and temperature range they can withstand are higher than those of cast steel valves, and the sealing performance is much better than that of cast steel gate valves, with a longer service life, and the medium flow direction is not restricted like other gate valves.

Performance Features

1. NPT forged steel gate valve is forged, and there are three types of cavity seals:
Bolted bonnet means that the valve body and bonnet are connected by bolts and nuts, and the wound gasket is sealed. Metal rings can also be used for connection according to customized requirements.
Welded bonnet means that the valve body and bonnet are connected by threads and fully welded. If customized, full welded connection can be used.
The 900lb, 1500lb, and 2500lb cavities adopt a pressure self-tightening sealing structure, and the sealing performance increases with the increase of internal pressure, with high reliability.
2. The channel is smooth, the flow coefficient is small, and the sealing surface is less eroded and eroded by the medium.
3. The sealing surface is made of alloy steel or hard alloy, which has good wear resistance and abrasion resistance.
4. The packing is made of flexible graphite, which is reliable and flexible to operate.
5. The flow direction of the medium is not restricted, and there is no disturbance or pressure reduction.
6. The packing replacement and maintenance can be carried out in the state of online shutdown without affecting the operation of the system.
