The single disc flat gate valve is a sliding valve with a parallel gate as the closing part. Its closing part is a single gate, and the pressing force of the gate to the valve seat is controlled by the medium pressure acting on the floating gate or floating valve seat. The flat gate valve developed and produced by Waits has the characteristics of elasticity and preload, structural valve seat with simultaneous sealing of upstream and downstream sealing seats, valve seat with self-cleaning function, and valve actuator and valve are independent. Performance Features
There are three types of valve body structures: casting, welding and forging.
The single disc flat gate valve adopts a structure with an O-ring seal and a floating valve seat with preload, which makes the flat gate valve bidirectionally sealed at the inlet and outlet. And the opening and closing torque of this structure is only 1/2 of that of an ordinary valve, so the valve can be easily opened and closed. The valve seat adopts a soft sealing ring, which has a double seal of soft sealing surface to metal and metal to metal, and the soft sealing surface also wipes the gate dirt. There is a grease injection valve on one side of the valve, and the grease enters the sealing surface through the grease injector and the grease injection hole of the valve seat to achieve the effect of emergency sealing. In order to extend the service life, the gate is equipped with a guide hole to protect the sealing surface from medium erosion, and it always fits the sealing surface whether the valve is fully open or fully closed. When the valve is fully open, the valve channel is smooth and straight, the flow resistance coefficient is extremely small, and there is almost no pressure loss. The pipeline can be cleaned by a pipe cleaner.
This single disc flat gate valve adopts a packing structure with self-sealing ability, does not need to be adjusted frequently, and is extremely easy to open and close. The sealing performance is reliable, and the packing is equipped with an auxiliary sealing grease injection structure, which solves the problem that the packing of general valves is most likely to leak. When the valve is closed, the high pressure in the inner cavity can be automatically unloaded to ensure safe use. The product is a fully enclosed structure with good protection performance and can be used in all-weather conditions. The valve is equipped with a position indicator to show the valve opening and closing position. The top loading type can save time and cost during maintenance.
