Product Description

The quality of forged steel parts is higher than that of cast steel parts, and they can withstand large impact forces. The plasticity, toughness and other mechanical properties are also higher than those of cast steel parts. The diameter of forged steel globe valve is generally not more than DN80, and most of them are designed with reduced diameter. Compared with the cast steel globe valve of the same diameter, the flow rate is slightly smaller, but the pressure and temperature range are higher than those of cast steel valves, and the sealing performance is much better than that of cast steel globe valves, and the service life is longer.
Like other globe valves, forged steel globe valves are subject to the flow direction of the medium. According to the different installation positions, they can be divided into straight-through globe valves and direct-flow globe valves (Y-type globe valves).

Performance Features

1. The main components are forged. Forged steel globe valve has three types of cavity seals: bolted bonnet, welded bonnet and cavity pressure self-tightening seal structure.
2. Bolted bonnet means that the valve body and bonnet are connected with bolts and nuts, and the wound gasket (made of stainless steel wire clip and flexible graphite) is sealed. Metal ring connection can also be used when customers have special requirements.
3. Welded bonnet means that the valve body and bonnet are connected with threads and fully welded. Full penetration connection can also be used when customers have special requirements.
4. The cavity of 9001b, 1500Ib, 2500Ib, 45001b can also adopt pressure self-tightening seal structure, the sealing performance increases with the increase of internal pressure, and the reliability is high.
5. The medium channel in the valve body is tortuous, the fluid resistance is large, and the power consumption is large. 6. The sealing surface is not easy to wear and scratch, and has good sealing performance. There is no relative sliding between the valve disc and the sealing surface of the valve body when opening and closing, so the wear and scratch are not serious, the sealing performance is good, and the service life is long.
7. Flexible graphite packing is used, the sealing is reliable, and the operation is light and flexible.
8. The medium of the globe valve can only flow in one direction and cannot change the flow direction. When installing, pay attention to the flow direction of the medium and the direction of the arrow of the valve body.
